OUR STORY · IN BUSINESS SINCE 1987

Good equipment.
People who stay with you.

At Hickel Auction Service, our work does not end when a machine is sold. We help buyers understand what they are purchasing, bring careful attention to the inspection, and remain available when questions come up down the road.

SINCE 1987

A lasting commitment to the people behind the machinery.

A tractor, combine or work truck is more than a listing. It is the equipment someone will depend on to get a job done. Choosing it means committing money, time and trust. That is why we believe the people behind the sale matter just as much as the machine itself.

Hickel Auction Service brings that responsibility to the way we work: taking the time to inspect equipment, answer practical questions, explain the next steps and help customers make informed decisions.

Private individuals and businesses are the sellers on our marketplace. Our role is to bring the process together and stand behind our own commitments—from inspection and purchase documents to warranty administration, return transport and qualifying refunds.

LIFETIME MECHANICAL SUPPORT

The warranty may end.
Our support continues.

For equipment we deliver, we offer lifetime access to mechanical support. If a problem appears—even after the warranty has ended—you can contact our team with your questions. Our mechanics will help you understand the symptoms, troubleshoot the issue and discuss practical next steps.

It is an ongoing commitment to answering your questions and helping you care for your equipment. Warranty coverage and any repair work remain governed by the applicable written terms.

ATTENTION BEFORE THE SALE

Inspection is a team effort.

Our inspection division brings together ten specialist mechanics and inspectors. Their areas include engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, transmissions, frames, controls, brakes, crop-processing components, safety and emissions.

That range of experience helps us look beyond a machine’s appearance. Customers can review the individual lot’s photographs, videos, specifications and inspection report, then ask us about the details that matter to their work.

We want those questions before a commitment is made. The right conversation can be about operating hours, a particular system, the equipment’s condition or how the purchase process works.

PERSONAL ATTENTION THROUGHOUT

A marketplace with people behind every step.

We review buyer verification videos manually because protecting customers’ interests deserves personal attention. This required review helps deter impersonation and disruptive activity that can inflate prices, block sales or interfere with genuine buyers and sellers. The video is deleted immediately after verification is completed.

When an offer is accepted or a buyer uses Buy It Now, the next steps are documented: buyer details, the purchase agreement, the selected coverage and the itemized invoice. Payment instructions for the assigned Dedicated Client Trust Account are provided through the buyer’s private account. Our office is available to verify those instructions by phone before a wire is initiated.

Our included 30-day / 100-additional-operating-hour money-back guarantee applies to eligible faults or equipment not as described. Optional paid warranty coverage is available under its written terms. Beyond those protections, lifetime mechanical support keeps the conversation open.

Whether you are asking your first question or contacting us about equipment already delivered, our aim is the same: give you clear answers, take your concerns seriously and help you move forward.
